“Beautiful place with very friendly staff. Excellent for relaxing and be in contact with nature.”
This is a lovely isolated lodge 1-1 1/2 hours from Kruger on its own large reserve. Our room/cabin was large and comfortable, and overlooked the valley below, including a waterhole visited by giraffes and others. Clearly, Kruger is a world-famous game-viewing area and is wonderful for that, but the Bongani Lodge adds a great deal to that experience as a result of the game drives within the reserve, and the extensive knowledge of its own rangers and guides. The food is very good, and the staff is fun and energetic, and works to provide excellent service.
